Motorsport Legacy

Gulf Oil has a rich Motorsport history and have partnered with various esteemed sports associations locally and globally, such as Manchester United Football Club, World Endurance Championship (WEC) and World Superbike Championship (WSBK) and MOTO GP.

M.S Dhoni:

M. S. Dhoni is the best embodiment of our core values – Quality Endurance and Passion, and is rightfully the official face of Gulf Oil, a partnership that began in 2011 and continues to grow and flourish. He shares Gulf’s passion for wheels, motorsports, sports and cricket, extending the brand’s reach and appeal. The association also led to Gulf sponsoring the biopic of the legend with the recent blockbuster, MS Dhoni – The Untold Story

Cricket:

Gulf Oil shares a rich association with cricket since-2008 by being proud partners of iconic IPL teams, such as KXIP,CSK and RPSG. Doing so, Gulf Oil has sealed its spot in the hearts of millions and made strong inroads across markets. Continuing its legacy of enthralling cricket fans, in 2017 Gulf Oil put RPSG fans in the limelight with the Gulf Go Far Har Bar campaign.

Manchester United:

Two legendary brands in their respective fields, Gulf Oil and Manchester United, have partnered together to strengthen and broaden their global brand presence. This association enables Gulf Oil to engage with Man U’s fan base all over the world, including millions in Middle East, which is a major focus area

Le-Mans:

Gulf Oil is no stranger to ‘Endurance’, being one of its core values. Gulf Oil celebrated its 50th anniversary of participation in the 24 hour of Le Mans, considered the world’s toughest race. With its famous blue and orange livery, the brand shares a special relationship with the World Endurance Championship and its massive fan following.

Gulf Oil is no stranger to Endurance, one of its core values as well. Gulf celebrated 50th anniversary of its 1st (1968) and 2nd wins (1969) in 24Hours of Le Mans in 2018 and 2019 respectively, a racing format which is considered as one of the world’s toughest endurance racing. From these wins, the Gulf racing livery became truly famous and since then has received many accolades especially in the World Endurance Championship (WEC).
